Expert Group Consultative Meeting: Considering the need across the African region, the EILF Board created an initial EILF Africa Taskforce, comprising of Prof. Thursz, Prof. El Sayed, Prof. Bréchot and Prof. Asselah, tasking them to establish an EILF strategy for viral hepatitis elimination in the region. To do this, the taskforce designed and issued a survey to country representatives across the African region to gain an understanding of the gaps and opportunities and arranged this consultative meeting with the country representatives.
